Mustard velvet dress

This dress I made for myself to wear at my friends Brian's and Tracey's wedding up in Scotland. I bought the velvet fabric for £1 at a car boot sale! With the dress I made a matching purse as well (hand stiched...)

Claudia's Chile dress

This dress I made for my dear friend Claudia for her Chile holiday. The fabric was a gift from my sister, which she bought in a second hand shop in Sweden. The pattern is my favourite pattern:

Aubergine Winter Coat

This coat I made from aubergine colored wool and black faux fur. I have recycled some toggles from my old jacket and made a coat from a 70's pattern of a coat. I knitted some warm cuffs which would stop any snow (!) or cold air from getting in the jacket.

Fake leather jacket & random crochet cardigan

Hi, its been a while since I've been here, this is my latest projects, a fake leather jacket which is made by newly bought vinyl (£15) and the lining is made from a fabric I bought in Paris in a second hand shop(£1), it looks pretty indian to me. The pattern was made from my friend Ali's jacket. It took me aprox. 7 hours to make it. The cardigan I've made from a mix of mohair, wool and polyester yarns, ones that has been given to me (tack Frida) and bought from a car boot sale (50 pence). It took my many nights of crocheting. Have a look for yourselves:

Productive weekend...

It's been a very productive weekend. I've managed to get everything checked and labelled and ready for deliver to Birgmingham! My last two projects is a long sleeved 70's dress and a dark blue velvet mini skirt. I found these amazing original patterns from 60's-70's from my favorite charity shop "Cry" in Southea.

VELVET MINI SKIRT, size 8.
I worked this out from my own fitted pattern. The fabric is fabulous thick dark blue velvet.
